Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!

The whole blogging world out there is "thinking Spring." Well, I for one would love to join in...

HOWEVER - when I look outside, this is what I see...I am making progress on my afghan, though!!

I learned something new today!!

Today a group of ladies from our church got together and learned a new craft!! It is called Swedish weaving, and so far...it's lot of fun! When it is finished it will be a large afghan size.It is done on Monks cloth. This weaving design will cover the whole 2 1/2 yards of material when it is finished. I can see that it will be a relaxing thing to do when trying to wind down at night :)

My daughter plans to make an afghan, too. Hopefully she enjoys it too. Her colors are browns & light blues. She hasn't started hers yet. I'll post more pictures when we get farther along. Sorry about the quality of these pics, but it's dark & I don't feel like fixing them up too much...must get back to the weaving!!!

Secret Admirer Reveal

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Today is the big reveal day for the Secret Admirer Swap. You can check out all the participants here. Everyone that participated has to go to all of the blogs to find out who sent a package to them!! We had to send things that were in the three catagories - hearts, cherubs & chocolates!!!

I got my package in the mail yesterday. It was a fun swap!!!
