Today a group of ladies from our church got together and learned a new craft!! It is called Swedish weaving, and so far...it's lot of fun! When it is finished it will be a large afghan size.
It is done on Monks cloth. This weaving design will cover the whole 2 1/2 yards of material when it is finished.
I can see that it will be a relaxing thing to do when trying to wind down at night :)




My daughter plans to make an afghan, too. Hopefully she enjoys it too. Her colors are browns & light blues. She hasn't started hers yet. I'll post more pictures when we get farther along. Sorry about the quality of these pics, but it's dark & I don't feel like fixing them up too much...must get back to the weaving!!!
