A Trip to Mackinac

This past week my family and I were able to spend some time in Mackinaw City & on Mackinac Island. What a fun, relaxing time enjoying the gorgeous sights. The flowers on the island were unbelievable!!! So, so pretty.
We did lots and lots of walking. As we walked, what should I see, but a yard sale!!! A yard sale on Mackinac Island??? It was awesome...lots of wicker furniture, etc. The problem was, how to get anything off of the island. (Not to mention getting it home in the tiny car that we were in.)I settled on this one enamelware pan. When I asked how much it was, the answer was, "Those were all a dime." THOSE, ALL???? That implied that there were more at one time. I snatched the one and only that I could find. So does anyone know anything about Lisk enamelware?
On our final day there, my kids were able to go parasailing. It was a great trip, lots of fun, very relaxing!!!

WELCOME HOME!!! Nice pics. I can't believe the kids are up that high. Did they take a camera? I see on you flicker. But now I'm back to bed. Thanks for the phone call :)

Hi Cathy!
The garden in front of the white picket fence is BREATHTAKING!!! I may have to try to copy that next year! I enjoyed stopping by your blog!
